Utah Weekend #2

Yes, we went to Utah again this past weekend -and we loved it!
The sad thing is, I remembered our camera, but not the SD card? I was trying to be so good about taking pictures! Especially since it was one of BFF's from high school's receptions, so practically our entire group of friends was there. Oh well - it was so much fun to catch up with everyone.

We did take a group picture on Whit's phone - so here it is in all it's glory.
Back: Kyle, Aaron, Jake, Jessica (Caleb's wife), and Caleb
Middle: Bronson (Whit's husband), Whit, me, Casey, Ayisha, Nancy (plus baby!) and Luke
Front: Katie and Missy
(Janae, her husband Cory, and baby Kynzlie were also there earlier.)
We all look possessed, but it's still kind of great.
Anyway, so Collin is married. (I haven't even mentioned whose reception it was yet, have I?) Yes, Collin and the adorable Alicia. I don't know her very well, but I like her - and I'm excited to get to know her better! They seem great together. And it was so great to see Collin. I'm kind of bummed I didn't get a picture of me, Collin and Aaron together. We were the three amigos in high school/freshman year of college (plus Caleb, when he was in town). Always together doing who knows what! They were the two best friends I could have asked for, and they got me through some rough spots during junior and senior years, and freshman year, too.
Love them. And here is a visual of Collin. This was at his farewell.

So back to the weekend. The reception was great. Then we went to my mom's and had a sleepover :) Chari loves it when we do that. We slept in a little bit, ate some delicious breakfast, and spent time together. Later that afternoon, after a yummy lunch of rice and curry, we drove up to Nathan and Melanie's. Kyle's dad was in town, so we had a family dinner together. Jess and Alan came over as well, so we had a great time. After we put the kiddos to bed, we watched Atlas Shrugged: Part 1. As you probably know, Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorite books, and I have been looking forward to watching the movie. I really enjoyed, and recommend it! We slept over there that night, and then drove home in the morning in order to go to our own ward for church!

So that was our weekend - and it was a great one!
But we are excited to stay at home this weekend in our little home and get things plus. Plus, we'll be back in less than two weeks for Thanksgiving!
