Flashback (Sun)day

Seeing the photos that others posted yesterday of the Festival of Colors made me reminisce about the times I had gone, so I thought I'd do a little flashback post.
(Although, there weren't nearly as many pictures than there has been in years past... I guess that means I'm old and most of my friends have graduated and moved on...)

The two above pictures are from 2009. We had a huge group that went. Afterwards we split up, and a few of us went to the Bombay House for dinner.

Me, Nat and Em decided to go back again in 2010, and went and got dinner at Sammy's afterwards.

Me and Isha went in 2011.

I love, love, love the Festival of Colors.
If you ever get that change, go!

Promotion!

Yep, that's right. I am moving on up in the corporate world :)

I was promoted to Regional Operations Manager, which basically means I am the boss!

In seriousness, I will be working directly under our Clinical Program Manager and our Exec of Operations to take on more administrative/managerial roles so the program director can be freed up to do more clinical work. I'll be doing a slew of things such as dealing with PR and HR issues, enforcing different company policies among employees, recruiting business, attending meetings, etc., etc.

I'm pretty excited to take on this role, as it will be a nice change, although not too different. And it will also be nice to not be directly in charge of employees.

In other news... The rest of our lives are just the same.
It snowed yesterday, but we didn't get near as much snow as our friends in Utah did, so I'm not complaining! Kyle has spring break this coming week, and Sunday is his birthday and Easter! Talk about a good day.
And of course it's currently MARCH MADNESS.
So basketball is all that is on at our house currently.
(I'd like to say that I picked Harvard and Florida Gulf Coast. Pretty proud over here.)

Finally, a Blog Post!

I have a bunch of blog posts in my drafts that I keep meaning to finish, but I haven't yet.
So here's to hopefully finishing a blog post!

As Kyle posted about, he is an alternate at BYU.
He also just got an email today (3 months after the application deadline...) from USU, where he is apparently  an alternate for their combined Psychology program.

So we still have about a month until we find out about both the BYU and the USU programs, but of course we have been discussing what we'll do if neither of those programs work out, and right now, we both feel ok with staying in Pocatello.
But of course, we'll have to see what the next month or so brings! It's an exciting time, for sure!

In other news... I've been trying this thing called. "actually getting ready" in the morning, and so far it's a 10 day streak! (Apart from today, since I was sick.) It's a really good thing, I've been putting more effort into my appearance, and it's true what they say, it really does boost your self esteem!

I don't have too much else to say. Our lives currently consist of work, and school, and church callings. We have a busy couple of months coming up. Kyle just took his comprehensive exams on Friday, but he has his licensing exam and of course finals in April. We've got Casey's wedding coming up as well, that we'll be going to Utah for. And of course graduation at the end of the two months :) Plus deciding what we want to do with our lives, come May 11th!

I'm afraid I don't even have a picture to share... So that's all for now.
