4 Years

The 6th was our 4th anniversary - I mentioned it in my last post, but I figured it deserved it's own little post, as well. 4 years seems so short and so long, all at the same time.

In the past 4 years Kyle and I have:
lived in 2 different states, and 3 apartments/homes
have visited Yellowstone 3 times
been to Lake Powell
been to Arches
spent 10 days in Florida (and went to all the theme parks in the area)
been on a 7 day cruise
been to California 4 times (5 for me) - Disneyland once, Sea World once
done sessions/initiatories/attended sealings in 10 different templs
had a baby
graduated from college and grad school
gotten a new car
had 6 different jobs between us
gone camping numerous times
attended 3 different wards
......
and created many more memories!

Nearly every day I am reminded what an amazing and right choice I made when I decided to marry Kyle. He is the best for me, and I am so grateful for him. He puts up with my crazy and I couldn't ask for more.
I am so grateful that we are members of the true Church, and that we will be together forever.

I love you, Kyle!
Here's to many more years to come.... and eternity after that!

Our Anniversary Happenings

So our two anniversary was on Sunday. Where does the time go??! We didn't do too much, but we did have a great time together. Friday night, we went out to Costa Vida for dinner. Saturday, we went and saw The Avengers, and then went to dinner at Applebees. Sunday, we slept in, slept some more, ate, watched a slideshow of all of our wedding photos on our TV, and just enjoyed each other's company. We also ate corned beef for dinner. Yum.
(A quick tangent on the movie..... It was fine, and good, and entertaining.... But during the battle scene I felt like I was watching the last Transformers movie again. Lame.)
Kyle spoiled me with a pretty plant, and Mockingjay (since our first copy has disappeared...). I am going to spoil him in two weekends when we go stay at a Hilton hotel in Layton, and go to the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base :)

We didn't take any pictures... But I will be sure to take pictures when we are in Layton! :)

I am so incredibly grateful for Kyle. He is my best friend, my lover, my better half. He always knows what to say when I am sad and ornery. He spoils me. He loves me unconditionally. And he will be silly with me. He is so kind, and friendly, and funny, and easy going, and loving.... He is just the very best. I am grateful for him every day, and I am so happy and grateful that we were sealed in the Temple for time and all eternity.

I love you, Kyle! Thanks for bringing so much happiness and love into my life!

And now... Enjoy some wedding photos.

Day 12 and 13

Day 12- Something you don't leave the house without...

I really can never leave the house without chapstick. I have to have some with me at all times. If my lips feel dry, that's all I can think about. I gotta have me some chapstick, always. And of course, my favorige is Burt's Bees, original. Yum.

Day 13-Someone you see yourself marrying or being with in the future..

Well, you know, there's this guy named Kyle, and I married him for a reason :)

Love you, babe.

6 Months!

Today is our 6 month anniversary!
It seems like a long amount of time, and a short amount of time.
I love being married to Kyle.
He's the very best, and better than what I could have ever hoped for.
In honor of it being six months, here are 6 things that I love about him.

1) I love his sleepy smile that he gives me in the morning.
2) I love how he's always willing to listen to my ramblings.
3) I love how willing he is to help cook and clean.
4) I love how he makes me feel safe.
5) I love how he'll get up from the bed to unplug our iPod dock because he knows I hate the light it creates when it's plugged in and it will keep me awake.
6) I love that he loves me.

I'm so grateful for Kyle, and for the blessings of the Temple.

1 Year

1 year ago today, on a hill overlooking the Provo Temple, Kyle Scott Hanson got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him.
I said yes, of course.

Now, one year later, we have been married for 4 months and 1 week.

And I couldn't be happier with the way my life has turned out.

Once Upon A Time...

This boy and this girl were dating.

They went to watch a movie in the park, but since they got there early, they went on a walk down to the Temple. They walked around the Temple grounds together, and discussed how happy it would make them both if they could go inside together some day.

They went and watched the movie (Ten Little Indians) with the Temple lit up in the background.

That day was exactly a year ago today.

18 days after, they went ring shopping for the first time (which also happened to be the girl's birthday).
2 weeks and 2 days after they went ring shopping, they were engaged, right by the Temple where they had first talked about getting married.

A week less than 8 months after they were engaged, they were married for Time and All Eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.

And they couldn't be happier.

Happy 3-monthiversary to US!

Today, we've been married for 3 months.
And what a WONDERFUL 3 months is has been.

I'm so incredibly grateful for Kyle, and the fact that we were able to be sealed in the Temple, and to make those covenants, and to know that, if we live up to our covenants,
we will be together FOREVER.

That is a wonderful thing.

I love Kyle.
And my Father in Heaven for giving me this wonderful man, who takes care of me, loves me, and makes me laugh.

Life

Oh, I love life.

I've been really tired this week, between a wedding, and family gettogethers, and just working fulltime, it's been a long week.

We went and helped Alan move on Saturday, as well as ran some errands.
We stayed over at Nathan and Melanie's that night, and went to church there on Sunday. Sunday evening was full of dinner, and fun, and family time.
I worked, and Kyle cleaned up our aparment, and we hung up our pictures!
Our home is almost completely put together.
We cooked dinner for Evan and Holly on Tuesday night, which was followed by going to the creamery to get some delicious ice cream.
Wednesday after work we went up to Nathan and Melanie's and stayed the night.
Yesterday was Alan and Jess's wedding.
It was very beautiful, although very tiring.
I was glad mine is over.
Sadly, I didn't take any pictures, so that's a bit boring on my part.

Tonight, Kyle and I are planning on simply relaxing.
Tomorrow we're going down to Price with Kyle's brothers and their families (minus Alan and Jess of course) and his parents to visit the family down there. Oh, I just love Kyle's family. I love spending time with them.

I also need to get on posting wedding pictures, as well as a few other pictures, such as one from when I went and received my endowment. So those will be coming shortly.

And, at the risk of sounding cheesy (and of being a type of person that the mormon child bride mocks) (I love that blog) ....
I love my husband.
He is amazing, and everything to me, and can always bring a smile to my face.

Not to mention he's good lookin'.
